My interests in teaching

I've always wanted to help people and at first I thought it would be a in the medical field but the more I studied different aspects of medicine, I realized I didn't have the stomach for it. After working with children at a new job, I realized how much I love seeing them grow and learn. I then looked into the program to become a teacher. I'm now on my way! I love to see children understand new concepts, work with one another and master new skills. My goal is to make a difference in the lives of children and I believe this is the best way for me to accomplish this. I'm most interested in teaching 3-6th grade English. However, I realize as an elementary teacher you are usually teaching many different subjects which is fine with me as it will provide variety throughout the day.
